Klaas Hilverda a.k.a. DJ Santito is a household name in Holland. Especially in and around Amsterdam this sympathetic DJ has a huge following, with a residency at a.o Holland’s leading and world wide known club; Panama. Furthermore he is spinning frequently at other big Clubs such as Escape (Resident) & Marcanti in Amsterdam. Furhermore he is the Resident DJ of the very popular Touch Events Organisation (www.touchevents.nl)

As a result Santito has moved floors alongside the world’s greatest dj’s such as John Digweed, Dave Clark, Sharam, Marco V. , Mark Knight, D Ramirez, Dubfire, Danny Howells, Stonebridge, San, Derrick May, Sister Bliss, Tim De Luxe and Todd Terry to name but a few…;-)

Santito is a well kept secret outside the Netherlands even though he played in El Pacha and Jet in Buenos Aires, Stockholms Club Solidaritet, Sao Paolo’s Club Mokai, Malta, Curacao’s Zanta Beach & Asia De Cuba, and in Santiago de Chile’s Odda Party and Barcelona’s El Oven to name but a few. Queensday 2008 (the number one event day) in Amsterdam was yet another highlight for Santito, where he played on the leading float to thousands of fans. Quite the accomplishment knowing that he is only active as a DJ for a little over 5 years.

In October 2008 this popular Dutch DJ released his first solo single; ‘Santito – Can’t take my hands off you feat. Shena’. YES! Thé Shena, from Alex Gaudino – Watch Out fame as well as ‘Michael Gray – The Weekend’ and Sound Dezign – Happiness’. All of which are huge hits up until this very day! And if this weren’t enough, the package held a Dennis Christopher and Stonebridge remix (Hed Kandi) as well. The record was played by a.o Roger Sanchez and Eric Morillo and at the worlds most popular Podcast, Dance Department.

At the end of 2008 Santito signed up with Fektive Records and this is turning out be the ideal combination. In February 2009, Santito released his 2nd Track called “House Addict”. A “very dirty” electro track. The track is already highly appreciated and being played very frequently by a.o. Sebastian Ingrosso.

With his recently, released track, “The Music Got Me”, the future is looking very bright for Santito. The track already got great support from a.o. Sander Kleinenberg and Stonebridge. “The Music Got Me” will also be released on the new and upcoming summer compilation of the by Sander Kleinenberg mixed “Pure Pacha” Cd.

After the “The Music Got Me” Track, Santito released the track Lucky Star which did real well and in February 2010 he released the very succesfull track “ Back It Up” – Santito vs Block & Crown. This track appeared amongst others on the very popular Radio 538, Dance Smash Cd and SLAM FM Cd, to name a few and will soon be released by Robbins Entertainment in the U.S.A.

Saturday the 24th of July his latest Track “Voices Inside My Head” has been released by Spinnin Records Holland and the video that was shot will be broadcasted very soon.
